Crusty and The Bearded Clams is an acoustic trio based in Bloomington, IN. Formed over 30 years ago, ‘The Clams’ have entertained audiences in northern, central and southern Indiana. While CBC has included several player and full band iterations such as: bass players, drummers, horn players, keyboards, fiddles, etc….at its core, Crusty and The Bearded Clams has always been a trio: Phil Bowmer, Jeff Schwegman and Bob Stoner.

The Clams present a wide range of music including original compositions and covers. Their on-stage catalog spans several decades of rock n roll from bands such as: Neil Young, Rolling Stones, Little Feat, The Band, Oasis, Marshall Tucker, Hal Ketchum, John Prine, Tyler Childers, Elton John, Van Morrison, John Hiatt, and REM…..among others.

Each of The Clams has performed as solo acts and with other bands as part of their personal musical journeys. Each member brings their own musical backgrounds and talents, resulting in their one-of-a-kind harmonies and on-stage experience.
